We have just returned from two wonderful weeks at Moodz and our complete contentment is still lingering. The peace, beauty and attention to detail surpassed our expectations, and made our multi generational holiday the best we've ever had. Selina and Mitch have built, and are part of the Moodz magic. The pictures are good, but the reality is even better; close enough to Silves, beaches and water parks, removed enough for perfect peace. Superb. We will be back ASAP.

Selina and Mitch were delightful hosts. They were attentive and provided us with a delightful breakfast on the first morning. We felt right at home and relaxed in the delightful surroundings. The location is idyllic with a pool, hot tub, plunge pool and a host of relaxing places to chill out. If you want somewhere to relax and take your mind off the stresses and strains of everyday life then Moodz Spa and Resort is for you. The perfect location to relax and recharge your batteries. Don’t miss out on a fabulous massage from Selina. I was so relaxed I fell asleep. Our kids and their partners loved it as did my 88 year old mother in law. Highly recommended. Zodra je het resort terrein opkomt voel je een rust over je heen komen. Alles klopt en is mooi, van de styling tot de uitzichten en van de lodges tot de algemene ruimtes. Daarnaast is de vibe op het resort heel ongedwongen en positief, mede dankzij de fijne betrokken eigenaren, Selina en Mitch.

Beautiful stay! Selina was one of our favorite hosts. She had so many great recommendations and was very responsive whenever we had a question. The stay is very secluded and private. We ended up staying there at one of the hottest days of the year but luckily the pool was the perfect cool temperature to cool us down. During the night we were able to sleep well with the AC. The jacuzzi and daybeds were also great. We would definitely recommend this stay for people who like privacy and luxurious accommodations! Thank you Selina once again!

Wir verbrachten unseren Urlaub als Familie im Moodz Resort. Es war traumhaft. Angefangen von der grandiosen Aussicht von unserer Lodge bis zum Wohlfühl-Spa-Bereich war alles perfekt für uns. Die Stimmung im Ressort ließ uns den Alltagsstress vergessen. Wir genossen auch sehr die Massagen bei Selina. Morgens wurden wir immer wieder mit Frühstücksleckereien überrascht. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und würden gerne wiederkommen. Vielen Dank Selina und Mitchel für den wunderschönen Urlaub.

This was our seconds time at Moodz and we loved it (again) . The place is just amazing, calming and relaxing. We were 3 girls just looking for a time out from our busy jobs and Moodz is just perfect for that. The lodges are spacious and very well equipped for a longer stay. The beds are amazing and the view’s unbeatable. The whole location has a great vibe. You can chill by the beautiful pool, enjoy the jacuzzi, hang on the daybeds, take a sauna or just do nothing. Beautiful beaches are also jot far away. And last but noch least: Selina and Mitch are great hosts. They are attentive, helpful, super nice and funny. We really want to come back a third time, because this place is just great.

Wir (7 Erwachsene und ein Kleinkind 9 Monate alt) waren sehr zufrieden!!!
Der Aufenthalt war fantastisch! Selina und ihr Mann waren außergewöhnlich - freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Moodz und die Villa waren wunderschön, sauber und bot alle Annehmlichkeiten wie Netflix, Disney Plus, Pool und Sound Boxen und noch viele weitere Features um die Ferien zu genießen. Die Lage war ideal - in einer ruhigen, sicheren Gegend, aber dennoch nicht zu weit vom Strand oder den grösseren Städten. Insgesamt eine unvergessliche Erfahrung. Sehr zu empfehlen!

C’est sans conteste un de nos meilleurs séjours. L’endroit est exceptionnel il faut le tester pour en comprendre toute la magie et le charme. Le silence, les étoiles, la vue vont me manquer. A courte distance de la jolie Silves et de ses commodités. La villa est magnifique ainsi que le spa&resort. Selina et son conjoint ont été très attentifs et extrêmement réactifs à nos demandes. Nous avons eu un accueil absolument adorable et des petites attentions (courses apportées le matin au petit déjeuner) qui font toute la différence. Merci pour votre gentillesse. C’était parfait, nous reviendrons.

Für mich war, auch wenn im Titel "Lodge" steht, nicht klar, dass es nur ein Safarizelt ist. Ansonsten aber alles Tip-Top. Unendlich viel Spa Angebot, Peelings, Massagen und natürlich auch alles bestens gereinigt. Wir kommen wieder.

Geweldig, wat hebben wij genoten van onze lodge, de aanwezige faciliteiten met name de Jacuzzi😌 Locatie was Top, communicatie was Top, voorzieningen waren GEWELDIG!! We hebben een heerlijk, rustig verblijf gehad. Selina had ook tips voor de dingen te doen en waar te eten. Selina en Mitchel zijn hele goede hosts. Vriendelijke mensen en aangenaam in contact. Moodz is 100% a labor of love. Mitch and Selina have done an incredible job with this secluded, beautiful, romantic space. We had the pleasure of staying in the villa for the week of my birthday.

The two of them went above and beyond to make our stay as nice as possible. I would recommend Moodz to anyone looking for a beautiful break from the daily grind.

On a practical note, everything was super clean, the facilities are fully equipped with yoga mats, shampoo and conditioner, laundry soap, fully equipped kitchen etc.

Ons verblijf in dit resort was geweldig. Het uitzicht was adembenemend en de gedeelde voorzieningen zoals het zwembad, bubbelbad en sauna maakten ons verblijf extra leuk. We werden vrienden met de andere gasten, wat het nog gezelliger maakte. Selina was supervriendelijk en reageerde snel op onze vragen. Als je op zoek bent naar rust, is dit resort zeker een aanrader!

This is a stunning place. The surroundings are beautiful and the accommodation is unique. Beautiful and very comfortable. The spa is lovely. We particularly enjoyed the pool, the hammam and the outdoor swing. We also took advantage of the yoga area, where mats were provided. Selina and Mitchel are great host. We had all the privacy we wanted, but they went above and beyond when we needed help. We hope to come again. Thank you for everything.

Wat een prachtige resort is Moodz. De gastvrijheid van Selina en Mitch is bijzonder hartelijk, niets is te veel en ze zijn beiden zo behulpzaam. De locatie is een hemels paradijs op aarde. Aan voorzieningen ontbreekt er niets. Een heerlijk zwembad, infrarood sauna, fijne douche gelegenheid etc etc. Alles was zo goed verzorgd en vooral goed schoon. De hygiëne is perfect. Als je tot rust wil komen is dit zeker een aanrader! Ik ga er zeker nog een keer terug komen.

Selina & Mitchel sind unglaublich tolle Gastgeber und absolut hilfreich bei jeglichen Themen. Leider war das Wetter nicht sehr gut, sie haben uns Frühstück gebracht und einen Late Check-out angeboten. Auch bei anderen Themen waren sie extrem entgegenkommend, dafür waren wir sehr dankbar. Das Resort ist wunderschön, so viel Liebe zum Detail, wirklich beeindruckend. Man muss sich auf einen Rückzugsort sehr weit ab vom Trubel und mitten in der Natur einstellen und einlassen, dann kann man hier die perfekte Oase der Ruhe finden. Wirklich beeindruckend, was die beiden hier auf die Beine gestellt haben.

Wat heeft Moodz Spa & Resort ons overtroffen. Een echt paradijsje dichtbij de mooie stad Silves. De foto’s en verhalen zijn leuk maar om daadwerkelijk te gast zijn bij gastheer Mitchel en gastvrouw Selina op hun heerlijke resort en de schitterende omgeving brengt je zoveel rust.. Van de schone zeer luxe verblijven tot de heerlijke massage, of het fijne zwembad de hammam, jacuzzi, sauna / infrarood sauna of heerlijk luierend op een van de luxe zonnebedden uitkijkend op de mooie omgeving.. Als je hier bent geweest ben je weer even helemaal nieuw.. Binnen 15 minuten ben je in het mooie centrum van Silves of bij heerlijke stranden met gezellige strandtentjes waar het goed is vertoeven.. Wij hebben intens genoten en zijn zeker van plan om bij Moodz snel weer terug te komen.
100% aanrader van onze kant voor iedereen die rust wil ervaren in een mooie luxe omgeving en dito sfeer!!!

Based on the pictures we knew we were in for a treat with the villa at Moodz, but this place has literally exceeded our expectations in every way.
The resort is located in a secluded -yet still very accessible- place of the Algarve hinterland and is a true natural treasure. The location on top of the hill provides 360 views that you never get tired of and the silence is magical. The villa in itself has all the amenities (plus many many more) that you can think of, and a very (very) well equipped kitchen. What I loved mostly -and what makes this place particularly hard to leave- is the energy. Selina and Mitch dreamed up and created this place, filling it with good vibes and their hospitality, in addition to the remarkable natural surroundings, makes up for a truly ‘good vibe’ place that leaves your cup filled to the brim. The setting and wonderful hosts have made this to be one our best holidays yet!

Waauw, wat een paradijsje is dit! Moodz heeft alles om volledig tot rust te komen en op te laden. Het resort bevind zich midden in de natuur tussen adembenemende bergen. De faciliteiten zijn nieuw en ronduit heerlijk. Zwemmen in het zoutwaterzwembad of sterren kijken in de jacuzzi of vanuit 2 sauna's. Je hoeft het resort niet af, maar mocht je dit willen dan is een bezoek aan Silves of de prachtige stranden in de buurt zeker de moeite waard. Het is mogelijk om het hele resort, het huis of een modern uitgeruste lodgetent te huren. Alle voorzieningen zoals koelkast, kookgerei en bijvoorbeeld airco zijn aanwezig en een supermarkt is op een paar KM rijden. Wij hebben tot slot nog mogen genieten van een professionele ontspanningsmassage door de gastvrouw Selina, een dikke aanrader!

Moodz is a fantastic place to stay! Selina and Mitch designed and built an amazing haven in the middle of the Algarvian back-country . The views are stunning, and if you are not relaxing on your private terrace you can hike in the hills around the resort (or let the kids wander around as you can see them for hundreds of metres). It’s also possible to walk to the nearby pedagogical farm or wander in the orchard by the stream. The swimming pool, deck, spa is obviously outstanding and the lodge itself super well equipped and confortable! Glamping at its best! Really convenient to drive to the best beaches and main attractions in Algarve. Almost forgot to mention that Selina and Mitch are absolute perfect hosts (super useful, attentive and friendly). Incredible place !

I've visited Moodz for two weeks total with one of my childhood friends and it was an incredible experience to say the least. The views, the sauna, jacuzzi, cold plunge and the pool areas are amazing. If you're looking to go to the South Portugal region, then you should definitely book your stay at Moodz. Der Standort ist einfach traumhaft. Abgeschieden aber trotzdem nur 15 Minuten bis nach Silves. Sehr schöne Aussicht, Whirlpool, Sauna usw. Perfekt um ein paar entspannte Tage zu verbringen. Die beiden Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir durften spontan am Abreisetag länger bleiben und haben außerdem noch Frühstück bekommen. Vielen Dank 😊

There aren't enough superlatives to describe our stay at Selina and Mitchel's amazing property! I wish we could rate more than 5 stars. The location is so fun for anyone who loves something a bit off the beaten path - literally! We loved Moodz' secluded setting and it was easy to travel into Silves/to the coast each day. The property is beautiful and the owners have put so much care and attention into the details. The accommodations were well appointed and sparkling clean. But what really set our stay apart was the hosts. Selina and Mitchel are so welcoming and sincere - we came away feeling we'd made new friends. They went out of their way to make our way special and memorable, even going so far as to gift our children with rain jackets when we were underprepared for unseasonably rainy weather. This was the kind of stay that reminded us what we love about airbnb/hosted stays.

What an amazing place to stay, so peaceful and the perfect retreat to get away from it all. Just half an hour drive to the coast or 10mins from Silves for shops and restaurants. Selina was the perfect host and really couldn't do enough for us. This place is beautiful and so well thought out and clearly the pride and joy of Selina and Mitch and I don't blame them. Des hôtes attentionnés, efficaces et discrets. Nous avons logés dans le lodge 2, à notre arrivée les températures importantes de l'été avaient créé des tensions sur la toile du lodge, ce qui rendait la fermeture des "fenêtres " compliquée. En moins de 10 minutes Selina et Mitchel ont réglé le problèmes et notre séjour a pu se dérouler dans les meilleurs conditions. Nous avons eu de la pluie, du vent et du soleil au cours de notre séjour, et quelque soit la météo, l'environnement est apaisant et propice a la détente ! Lorsque vous y serez, n'hésitez surtout pas à vous réserver un massage, vous ne serez pas déçus!

We had a great stay at Moodz. The resort is located in a quiet and secluded area in the mountains, very peaceful! The owners are accommodating and friendly. The resort is not very large, but the spa has all the facilities you need. The lodge is was clean and well-equipped (decent kitchen, airconditioning). Would recommend.

If you are hesitating - stop and book Moodz right now. Fantastic value for money, you get a lot. Pictures don't really do the villa justice - it's very specious and has everything and anything you might need for a comfortable stay. The facilities around and the nature are so good we didn't wanna leave the place at all. One thing I will say - definitely rent a car because taxis can be pricey at times. This hidden jam in the middle of nowhere totally stole my and my friends hearts, I had the best birthday trip. This place is a dream. Felt like i was staying in a 5 star resort in Bali. Attention to detail is impressive from a fully kited kitchen to shampoos in all the showers to high quality sheets on the huge beds. The surrounding make you feel like you are in the middle of no where total tranquillity but you are 7 mins from a lovely small town. I could have spent all day lying by the pool and in the hot tub but those little kids had me dragged to the water parks all day long ;[ Cant wait to come back !

Our stay at the Moodz spa en resort was amazing! We stayed at one of the lodges were we had an amazing view on the mountains. Every morning we did yoga at one of the sun terraces everything was for-seen by the resort to do yoga there. From the yoga maths to the yoga blocks. During the hottest part of the day we stayed at the pool or at one of the swing beds were we could totally relax and disconnect from our busy lives at home. In the evening we visited different towns nearby. The location is perfect to visit the algarve by car. Most towns are only 15 - 30 minutes away from here. In the evening the temperature is perfect for a good night sleep. We spend several evenings in the hot tub looking at the amazing star sky with a glass of good wine in our hands. We would recommend this stay to everyone who wants to visit the algarve!

We stayed for a week at Moodz and everything about it was wonderful. I would be inclined to call it a little piece of heaven as the accommodation, the facilities and the view were all perfect. We stayed in one of the three tented lodges all of which are perched on a hillside so the views are panoramic. The bathroom has everything you need and is also very stylish - shampoo, fluffy towels and a powerful shower as well as plenty of space. A neat little kitchen with a coffee machine and lovely crockery along with comfortable sofa, NO TV, a big table and excellent decor makes the living area wonderful. The deck, complete with another full size dining table and a view to die for, is all that is left say apart from mentioning very comfortable beds and state of the art fans for every room. Then a short walk away is a beautiful swimming pool, floating double bed loungers, a jacuzzi, sauna, decking area for yoga and, of course, more fabulous views of all the hills you could hike up and down if you can bear to leave the place. An added bonus is the night sky which is unshackled from light pollution and invites you to just lie down on you back and contemplate life. This absolute gem of a place is just 10 minutes drive from the town of Silves which has good supermarkets, a castle and a lovely old town centre. It is a place to come for rest and relaxation.

Our family of 5 had a wonderful time at the magical Moodz resort. Our hosts, Selina and Mitch were so warm and attentive and have put their heart and soul into the creation of this luxury paradise with fantastic attention to detail. Glorious Algarve mountains surround the resort and the views from our terrace were simply breathtaking. We stayed in a 3-bedroom luxury canvas chalet, with a full kitchen, air conditioning, superb decor, and a terrace with views that I will never forget, from watching the mist burning off the mountain tops in the morning sun to the millions of stars that decorate the night sky. The pool is gorgeous, and we also loved the hot tub and plunge pool and using the yoga mats on the sun terrace. The weather was too hot even to try the saunas! Another outstanding feature was the swinging beds set out to enjoy the sunset, and we loved lazing, talking, and playing there together. We stayed in the first season Moodz opened, and we can’t wait to rebook again. Selina and Mitch have created something magical in the mountains and I 100% recommended it! Thank you, Selina and Mitch. This place is a dream. The Villa is beautiful, cozy, and well equipped. Hosts are very friendly, responsive and helpful. The communal areas are beautiful and immaculately maintained. We picked the Algarve with the intention to explore its beaches, but we loved Moodz to the extent that we ended up spending the entire holiday there without leaving…Highly recommended!

O Moodz é o sítio ideal para recarregar baterias. Afastado da confusão do Algarve, mas perto o suficiente de tudo o que é necessário (supermercados, farmácia, restaurantes), fica localizado num meio rural, mas a 10 minutos (de carro) de Silves e a 20/30 minutos das praias. O Lodge onde ficámos tinha boas comodidades e tudo o que era necessário para permitir uma estadia tranquila e confortável. Os espaços comuns são muito bem cuidados. A piscina, o jacuzzi e as camas com vista panorâmica foram eleitos como os nossos spots preferidos :)! Temos a destacar, além da beleza do sítio, a amabilidade, simpatia e disponibilidade da Seline e do Mitchel que foram incansáveis em garantir que estávamos bem instalados. Selina and Mitchel are really nice hosts. They try to do everything to satisfy your needs. I would highly recommend to visit Moodz. If you want to getaway to a nice place with the views it’s worth doing. Massage treatment from Dina is really nice, you should definitely try it!

O local é perfeito, longe da confusão das cidades e só se absorve paz. A vista rural é impecável e o acordar cedo ao som dos galos é só vantagem. Sem dúvida no top 5 dos melhores lugares que já frequentamos. Eu e a minha família amamos imenso. Fica a 10 minutos de carro da cidade onde têm a possibilidade de encontrar supermercados, farmácia, etc. E 15/20 minutos da Lagoa, onde tivemos 1 dia no parque aquático Slide&Splash. Sem dúvida alguma que iremos repetir. Muitos parabéns para a Selina e o Mitchel que são excelentes anfitriões e prestaram sempre muito apoio em tudo e uma ótima comunicação. Até o próximo ano! Calme et reposant, paysage magnifique, lodge confortable. Piscine et installations top! Silves est à même pas 10mn en voiture, Lagoa 20mn et il est très facile de rejoindre les principales stations balnéaires d’Algarve en 30/40mn de voiture. Selina et Mitchel sont des hôtes très accueillants et réactifs. Je recommande!
